Prinka has been responsible for the groups accounts for three-and-a-half years, managing finances, bookkeeping, financial reports, and rebates. Prior to this she has worked similar roles for the last five years including a lengthy stint with an online trading company. Ambitious and driven, she likes new challenges and has a desire to improve and learn new things. Outside of the office she keeps fit with regular swimming, enjoys computer games, and listens to music dependent on her mood at the time.

Ahmed is enjoying the challenge of his new role as Financial Controller at Select & Save, working on the reports and statements for the business to comply with regulatory requirements. Since graduating from Oxford Brooks, Ahmed has fifteen years experience as a chartered accountant, ensuring systems are in place and financial reporting is up-to-date. He is driven by acquiring knowledge, and continues to learn about the latest governance whilst in his role. A keen family man, he, like most of the Select & Save team, has a vested interest in watching football.

Barry became the Sales Director with Select and Save in January 2024, having joined the business the previous year in a business development role. He now oversees the day to day running of Select and Save and managing a highly experienced development team, with the sole aim to grow the Select and Save business by recruiting the very best retailers to join our family. Barry has worked in retail for over 15 years, having previously worked for Booker where he was a Retail Development Manager. In his spare time, Barry enjoys days out at theme parks with his wife and 3 children, as well as playing football to keep fit and following Liverpool FC, his favourite football team.

Joined in September 2025, following a career comprising commercial roles with food manufacturers and major wholesalers.
Colin is responsible for managing the supplier base and generating central income to support the market leading Select and Save retailer proposition.
Married for over 27 years, with three children and a Border Collie, most of Colin’s free time is occupied by these, alongside being a long-time season ticket holder at Stoke City.
Colin enjoys eating out, going to gigs, listening to music, walking and travelling.

Liam has been with Select & Save pretty much from the off. Starting as a branch manager of the Wythall store some twenty-five years ago, he worked in various positions across the company before taking up his present role of Commercial Manager. He is keen on innovation; working with suppliers to find better lines and better deals. He is proud of his family, a father to four, grandfather to seventeen, and, more recently, a great-grandfather of two. He’s a Manchester United fan, and is less keen to talk about that than in previous years.

Rav plays a key role in supporting retailers and driving business growth across the Select & Save network. With extensive experience in business development, acquisitions, and commercial strategy, he works closely with independent retailers to identify opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and help stores reach their full potential.
Rav is known for his practical, hands-on approach and his ability to build long-term relationships that deliver real results for both retailers and the wider business.
Outside of work, Rav is a keen cricket player at Louth Cricket Club and a big Formula 1 fan.

Varun has started his role as a Business Development Manager at Select and Save. He holds a Master’s degree from the USA and brings over a decade of extensive retail experience across the USA, India, and the UK. He possesses deep knowledge and a strong understanding of retail and franchise operations.
Outside of work, Varun enjoys spending quality time with his family and his young son. He is passionate about building new industry connections and continuously expanding his knowledge of the retail sector.

Rob has proudly and passionately worked with independent retailers throughout his career.
He brings great knowledge and experience of the convenience store sector, most recently in development roles with Nisa and Costcutter.
In his role with us, Rob aims to build strong working relationships and to fully support you to develop and grow your business.
Rob has been happily married for over 30 years and is extremely proud of their daughter Amy who has just got married (He will get emotional if you ask him about her!)
Outside of work and family life, Rob is a football referee (feel free to boo!) … which he does now to mainly try and keep him fit and he is also another passionate Liverpool FC fan, which can be interesting, as Sue his wife is an Everton fan..!!

I have over 40 years experience in the Convenience / Retail Development sector with major Symbol groups and Wholesalers supporting the hugely important independent retailers and their businesses. I have a real passion for problem solving and helping retailers get the very best from their stores, working in partnership to drive sales, volume and margin.
A bit about me, I’m a bit of a scooter geek too and own two retro scooters which I ride in the Spring and Summertime. I’ve recently located to the northwest from Birmingham, and am really looking forward to getting to know the retailers, and their stores on my area…I’ll be seeing you soon, very soon!!
